Trans-Oral Robotic Surgery (TORS) is now offered for privately insured patients using the exciting new Medrobotics flex system. Associate Professor Ooi is currently being proctored by other experienced ENT robotic surgeons to use the Medrobotics flex system at Memorial Hospital as part of a team approach for the treatment of patients in South Australia with tonsil and throat cancer, snoring and OSA. Robotic surgery is one treatment option and the indications, risks and benefits should be discussed with your treating surgeon.
