PAEDIATRIC CONDITIONS

Associate Professor Eng Ooi has extensive experience with the management of adenoid and tonsil disorders in children. He has performed over 1000 adenoid/tonsil procedures in children.

HEAD AND NECK CANCERS

Associate Professor Eng Ooi is a key member of the Flinders multi-disciplinary Head and Neck cancer team. He has experience in head and neck surgery for benign and malignant (cancer) disease from his training in Adelaide and in Toronto.

The major salivary glands are the parotid and submandibular glands. A tumour or growth can form in these glands and present as a lump in the face or neck.

PITUITARY & SKULL BASE SURGERY

Associate Professor Eng Ooi specialises in the removal of tumours affecting the sinuses and skull base.  He works as part of a team of specialised expert skull base surgeons with neurosurgeons.

Snoring is due to obstruction at either one or multiple levels of your nose and throat. You may have “simple snoring” where your oxygen levels are normal or “obstructive sleep apnoea” (OSA).
