All incoming referrals are triaged by our doctors based on the medical information provided in the referral letter.
To avoid delays in triaging, please ensure all relevant supporting information is included with the referral,  eg: audiology, radiology, pathology, sleep studies.
If patients have not been contacted by one of our reception staff within one week of your referral being sent, please do not hesitate to contact our rooms on 08 8464 0940 to discuss.
Please be aware that we are currently unable to offer non-urgent referrals (as determined through our doctors’ triage process) appointments within our usual timeframes.
Patients with non-urgent referrals can request to be placed on our cancellation list.

PAEDIATRIC CONDITIONS

All of our surgeons have extensive experience with the management of adenoid and tonsil disorders in children.

RHINOLOGY

Rhinology is often known as Sinus and nasal specialisation.  There are many factors that cause sinus and nasal problems. Adelaide ENT Surgery will provide information for you to choose the best treatment option for yourself.

HEAD AND NECK CANCERS

Associate Professor Eng Ooi and Dr Himani Joshi are key members of the Flinders Medical Centre multi-disciplinary Head and Neck cancer team. They both have extensive experience in head and neck surgery for benign and malignant (cancer) disease.

THYROID DISORDERS

The thyroid is a small gland found in the neck, near the base of the throat that produces hormones that control a number of metabolic processes of the body. Find out how we can help.

PAROTID

The major salivary glands are the parotid and submandibular glands. A tumour or growth can form in these glands and present as a lump in the face or neck.

EAR CONDITIONS

There can be multiple ear conditions that cause concern from middle ear infections, outer ear infections, perforated eardrums and exostoses. Adelaide ENT Surgery specialise in all these conditions.

PITUITARY & SKULL BASE SURGERY

Associate Professor Eng Ooi specialises in the removal of tumours affecting the sinuses and skull base.  He works as part of a team of specialised expert skull base surgeons with neurosurgeons.

SNORING & SLEEP APNOEA

Snoring is due to obstruction at either one or multiple levels of your nose and throat. You may have “simple snoring” where your oxygen levels are normal or “obstructive sleep apnoea” (OSA).
